Activity-Dependent Regulation of Mitochondrial Motility in Developing Cortical Dendrites

I designed and implemented a model of activity-dependent mitochondrial motility in developing neurons with based on experimental work done by Catia Silva in the Lohmann group at the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience. In this project, we explored how synaptic events affected the way mitochondria migrated within local regions of the dendrite.
